Story
Early one morning, in 2017, the cops were called to investigate a torched car parked near a recreation site off the Sea to Sky Highway in Squamish, B.C. And around 9:30am they reported finding the charred remains of a man inside. He was a dirtbag climber known only by the pseudonym Jesse James. What they didn’t know yet, was that the autopsy would reveal he’d been shot dead and that his true identity (Davis Wolfgang Hawke) wouldn’t be uncovered for another three years. His murder was a shock to his friends and girlfriend, but what investigators later revealed—about his involvement in a neo-nazi group, his title as Spam King, gold bars buried in a yard, and the rumored millions he'd earned in bitcoin—would make it more plausible and even less clear who killed Jesse James.
